To poetrize a test

(…as appended to an exam paper.)

To poetrize a test
Is but to add on to the rest
A little rhyme, a little meter
(Don’t worry what iambic feet are.)

The important thing (if aught is such)
Is simply not to think too much
It’s a game, to play while waiting for
Whatever left to do is more.

That last line — it was pretty bad
The sentence structure, it was sad
And so, to end now would be smart
I’ve too much content, too little art.
