If you’ve ever felt…

…like you are running really fast just to stand still, like you’re trying really hard but getting nowhere, consider this:

Making progress is often like paying off a mortgage. At first, you’re paying almost all interest, and barely whittling down the principal. But with each little bit of the principal you manage to pay off, the interest payment gets a little lower. Soon enough (though not always as soon as you would like), you are paying off mostly principal. Heck, maybe you now own the house outright and are putting in a conservatory!

Point is, some processes feel like they are not moving when they are just starting to accelerate. But it doesn’t work if you don’t make your payments.
